| Description | Indicates the type of soil profile (agricultural or native). Used as part of the linkage key to the NAMES (SNT) and LAYERS (SLT) tables. The linkage is made to an agricultural model of each soil profile, where it is available (PROFILE = A). This “agricultural bias” is useful for agricultural interpretive modeling. True land use information should be consulted to determine the current land use in a particular soil map polygon. |
